CAMPS BAY BEACH

Situated a stone’s throw away are some of Cape Towns best beaches. Camps Bay beach and tidal pool is no more than a 5 minute stroll from our hotel. Whether it is a exhilarating sea swim or a beautiful sunset stroll along the Camps Bay Promenade, it is all easily accessiible on foot from Royal Boutique. 

CLIFTON BEACHES

A visit to one of Clifton's beautiful beaches is one of the best ways to while away a breathtaking Cape Town summers day.  With its gorgeous white sand and cool turquoise waters, don't forget the beach bats and sun cream.

Rent a bicycle and cycle along the Sea Point promenade with Upcycle, rewarding yourself with a soft serve ice cream at the finish line. The promenade is a local treasure in Cape Town and you will find many locals enjoying an early morning jog or a sunset stroll. A short distance from the Promenade is Sea Point's Regent Road where you can find some great gift shops, excellent coffee spots, funky vegan cafés and great burger joints.

Hop on a guided Kayak Tour with Atlantic Outlook, paddle along our beautiful coastline and often in the company of a school of bottlenose dolphins. Ocean kayaking offers a spectacularly different view of Cape Town's beautiful coastline and mountains

Our african penguins

You will be blown away by the beauty of the small hidden attraction when you head to Simon’s town to visit the protected African penguins at Boulders Beach. This colony of penguins which can be viewed in their natural habitat via wooden walkways. There is also an excellent beach for swimming nearby.

PARAGLIDING 

Paragliding in Cape Town is mostly done from Signal Hill and on occasion when the wind direction allows, from Lions Head. Enjoy the ultimate tandem paragliding experience flying with with experienced pilots and experiencing the Mother City from the best vantage point. Once you are airborne, all you need to do is relax, enjoy the views and take it all in.

Known as Surfer's Corner and located in False Bay,  just 30 minutes south east of the city bowl, Muizenberg is one of the city's most famous surf spots. Its gentle waves are perfect for beginners, and are a long boarder's paradise. Make sure you pop in at the best coffee spot in Cape Town, Hans & Lloyd for a memorable brew after your surf.

For a jaw dropping experience, book with our friends at Cape Town Helicopters for visuals of the Atlantic Seaboard, Hout Bay and Cape Point that will completely wow. A variety of flight routes are offered including some beautiful experiences such as landing in the fynbos for a picnic on top of a mountain or flying up the West Coast for a decadent sea food feast.
